The all new Atlanta REIA All Inclusive Marketing (AIM) Group (formerly the “I Love Marketing” group) meets on Monday, April 14th at 7:00 PM at La Madeleine located at 1165 Perimeter Center West, Atlanta, GA. New Group Forming: At 3:00 PM, Carla Gamper is holding the first “Multi-Family Investing Focus Group” in the Green Room. This is a new focus group that is forming for people who want to learn to increase their wealth by investing in multi-family properties. The group will work together to hone our skills at finding, analyzing and purchasing multi-family properties using the methods taught by David Lindahl, author of the Apartment House Riches home study course.
This will be a private focus group, but any Atlanta REIA Member or guest is eligible to participate in the first meeting in order to learn more about the group and get details on how to join. For this first meeting, we will be introducing ourselves and deciding as a group, discussing the purpose of the group, what we would like to accomplish, where and when the meetings will be held, etc.

A New Group for Doing Creative Quick Turns
The Atlanta Homebuyers Society (AHS) is a brand new mastermind group that is forming now for persons interested in buying and selling houses for fun and profit. The program consists of the sharing of information and experiences among participants in the program related to their efforts, successes, and mistakes in regard to buying and selling real estate. The purpose of the group is to help participants become better and more profitable real estate investors and to share in those profits.
At 4:00 PM in the Main Meeting Room, the Atlanta Homebuyers Society is having its first meeting for all those who may be interested in participating in the program. At this meeting, interested participants will learn more about the program, meet group leaders and learn how to apply for the program. The Onsite Renovation Group Meets on March 18th at Noon

This month, on Tuesday, March 18th at Noon, the Atlanta REIA Onsite Renovation Group makes a final visit to 839 Gilbert St SE, Atlanta GA 30316 in Ormewood Park. We’ve seen this house at various stages of completion, and it’s time to gawk at the completed project. Doug Billian will lead a conversation about the prevailing market trends and neighborhood analysis. Bring your questions!
The Onsite Renovation Group, led by Aaron McGinnis of Craftbuilt Properties, is an new educational and networking group that focuses on the acquisition, renovation and retail resale (fix and flip) of single family residential homes inside the I-285 perimeter and the in-town neighborhoods. The purpose of this group is to allow both new and experienced rehabbers and investors to meet, network and share knowledge and experience with “hands on” access to real property. The Onsite Renovation Group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at NOON at an active renovation site, build site or rental property which will vary from month to month. The Beginning Investors Group Has Another Record Turnout in February 2014
Posted on February 18, 2014 byOnce again the Atlanta REIA Beginning Investors Group (BIG) had a record turnout on Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Hudson Grille located at 6317 Roswell Rd in Sandy Springs.
Investors packed the house to hear a informative and entertaining presentation made by Bill Ham about building a massive real estate portfolio without using banks. If that weren’t enough, Don DeRosa also joined us to give us a sample of what he will be teaching upcoming at his Mobile Real Estate Rockstars Workshop on Saturday Feb 22.
Russ Hiner and Regina Sitterley joined us for Late Nite Networking and conducted Buyer/Seller Roleplays that lasted late into the evening. We will continue Buyer/Seller Roleplays at future Late Nite Networking events after the BIG meetings.

This month, on Tuesday, February 18th at Noon, the Atlanta REIA Onsite Renovation Group returns to 839 Gilbert St SE, Atlanta GA 30316 in Ormewood Park. This month, on Tuesday, February 18st at Noon, the Onsite Renovation Group returns to 839 Gilbert St SE, 30316. We visited this house last year at our first Onsite Meeting back in April and now the renovation is now 95% done giving us the opportunity to poke fun at how long it took to complete. Park on the street, come insides and enjoy the toasty-warm, functioning HVAC inside!
The Onsite Renovation Group, led by Aaron McGinnis of Craftbuilt Properties, is an new educational and networking group that focuses on the acquisition, renovation and retail resale (fix and flip) of single family residential homes inside the I-285 perimeter and the in-town neighborhoods. The purpose of this group is to allow both new and experienced rehabbers and investors to meet, network and share knowledge and experience with “hands on” access to real property. The Onsite Renovation Group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at NOON at an active renovation site, build site or rental property which will vary from month to month. There is currently no charge to attend these meeting.

Come join us at BIG on Monday, February 17th at 6:00PM at Hudson Grille located at 6317 Roswell Rd in Sandy Springs, where former corporate pilot and regular contributor to Atlanta REIA’s Profit Newsletter, Bill Ham, will show you how to get your first deal (and lots more) without having to qualify for a loan from a bank. He will teach you how to build a portfolio of cash flowing properties even if you have bad credit, no credit or you have never even done a deal.
Bill has been investing with real estate for eight years now. He started with one duplex and no cash. Bill then created a portfolio of hundreds units from single family deals up to large commercial apartment complexes and everything in between. To this day, Bill has never walked into a bank and qualified for a loan, put money down, and purchased a real estate investment. He has lots of bank loans, but all of them came from refinancing after taking control of the property with some form of creative financing.
“I didn’t start with a ton of cash. I was twenty-eight years old when I quit my career-building job as a corporate pilot. I didn’t have a life savings. I didn’t have lots of connections from the business world. I wasn’t able to go to all of my wealthy investors and have them fund my deals. I survived by perfecting the art of creative financing, by mastering the art of Creative Financing. Now I have seven employees, my own management company, and hundreds of units.I survived because the art of helping people solve their problems is a very lucrative business. This is the core of what I teach. In all my material, that is the one concept I will repeat over and over”!
