Barbara Payne, Executive Director of the Fulton County Taxpayers Foundation, will address the February Movers and Shakers Lunch meeting on how to reduce your property taxes. With falling property values in much of metro Atlanta, it is critical to understand the importance of analyzing your properties to make sure your tax assessments are in-line with current values. There are new State statutes affecting property tax reductions so it is important to know how to appeal your property taxes to get them reduced.
