A New Group for Doing Creative Quick Turns
The Atlanta Homebuyers Society (AHS) is a brand new mastermind group that is forming now for persons interested in buying and selling houses for fun and profit. The program consists of the sharing of information and experiences among participants in the program related to their efforts, successes, and mistakes in regard to buying and selling real estate. The purpose of the group is to help participants become better and more profitable real estate investors and to share in those profits.
At 4:00 PM in the Main Meeting Room, the Atlanta Homebuyers Society is having its 2nd meeting for all those who may be interested in participating in the program. At this meeting, interested participants will learn more about the program, meet group leaders and learn how to apply for the program.
Four (4) AHS Groups are now forming now in Atlanta. Russ Hiner, Rock Shukoor, Leslie Mathis and Gordon Catts will each lead an AHS group consisting of five (5) members/entities each. On Wednesday, April 16th at the Atlanta REIA North Meeting located at 1960 Skylar Hill Dr, Suite D, Buford, GA we will be discussing the new Atlanta Homebuyers Society (AHS) which is now taking applications for new members. We will also be talking about how to generate motivated seller leads which is a major component of AHS.
The Atlanta Homebuyers Society is a brand new membership program and discussion group (a mastermind alliance) for persons interested in buying and selling houses for fun and profit that was inspired by Ron LeGrand’s Homebuyers Society in Jacksonville, FL. The program consists of the sharing of information and experiences among participants related to their efforts, successes, and mistakes in regard to buying and selling real estate.
AHS offers a combination of brainstorming, education, peer accountability, and support in a group setting to help sharpen participants’ real estate investing skills and achieve the success the desire. Participants will challenge each other to set goals, and more importantly, to achieve them.

Onsite Renovation Group Meets on April 15th at Noon
Posted on April 14, 2014 byThis month, on Tuesday, April 15 at NOON, the Onsite group will meet at a brick ranch located at 2726 Eastfield Rd in Smyrna, GA. We will be deep into the demolition phase of the project by the meeting at noon on Tuesday. This is a chance to see the project at the very start. The plans include tear off of an existing addition. The new addition will be a spectacular master suite. Overall, the project is a total renovation: new roof, sheetrock, plumbing, wiring, fixtures, counters, cabinets, paint inside and out. You name it and we are doing it here!
The Onsite Renovation Group, led by Aaron McGinnis of Craftbuilt Properties, is an new educational and networking group that focuses on the acquisition, renovation and retail resale (fix and flip) of single family residential homes inside the I-285 perimeter and the in-town neighborhoods. The purpose of this group is to allow both new and experienced rehabbers and investors to meet, network and share knowledge and experience with “hands on” access to real property. The Onsite Renovation Group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at NOON at an active renovation site, build site or rental property which will vary from month to month. There is currently no charge to attend these meeting.

New Group Forming: At 3:00 PM, Carla Gamper is holding the first “Multi-Family Investing Focus Group” in the Green Room. This is a new focus group that is forming for people who want to learn to increase their wealth by investing in multi-family properties. The group will work together to hone our skills at finding, analyzing and purchasing multi-family properties using the methods taught by David Lindahl, author of the Apartment House Riches home study course.
This will be a private focus group, but any Atlanta REIA Member or guest is eligible to participate in the first meeting in order to learn more about the group and get details on how to join. For this first meeting, we will be introducing ourselves and deciding as a group, discussing the purpose of the group, what we would like to accomplish, where and when the meetings will be held, etc.
