Onsite Renovation Group Meets February 17th at NOON in Decatur

This month, on Tuesday, February 17th at NOON, the Onsite Group will meet at 2010 Delphine Drive, Decatur, GA 30032 which is a property that Craftbuilt purchased. The plans include adding a bedroom and bath on the front of the house where the porch was. The kitchen is being moved from the front of the house to where previously there was a bedroom. Framing for the new addition is now done and the mechanical systems, HVAC, electrical and plumbing have been “roughed in”. If you were present at the previous meetings at this house, you will be amazed at the transformation. We are close to the finished product now. If you did not see the house before, come and hear about what we have done and where we are going with the project.
The Onsite Renovation Group, led by Aaron McGinnis of Craftbuilt Properties, is an educational and networking group that focuses on the acquisition, renovation and retail resale (fix and flip) of single family residential homes inside the I-285 perimeter and the in-town neighborhoods. The purpose of this group is to allow both new and experienced rehabbers and investors to meet, network and share knowledge and experience with “hands on” access to real property. The Onsite Renovation Group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at NOON at an active renovation site, build site or rental property which will vary from month to month. There is currently no charge to attend these meeting.

Is Real Estate Investing your “Hobby” or is it your “Business”? For many investors their business model looks more like a hobby then a business. They find a deal, go through the process of fixing it, marketing it and selling it. They take some time off and then repeat the process. Onsite Renovation Group Meets on January 20th at Noon in Atlanta

This Month, on Tuesday, January 20th, 2015 at NOON, the Onsite Renovation Group property located at 576 John Wesley Dobbs Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30312 where we are doing a new construction. In October we met at this same job site. At that time it was a vacant lot where we had just demolished an old house and had begun preparation for the new construction. We are now in the process of framing the new two story house. We are using trusses for the floors and roof. If you do not know the difference between using trusses and doing “stick built”, you can learn about it on Tuesday! Join us to hear Aaron talk about the unique challenges of demolition and new construction. The project is in the Old Fourth Ward, which is a neighborhood that has suddenly become hot because of the proximity to the Beltline and the Ponce City Market development in the historic Sears building. Don’t miss this meeting that should prove to be very informative on some new topics we haven’t addressed before!

We are very excited to announce that Wahid “Mr. Tycoon” Shakur will be our special guest speaker. Mr. Tycoon is a best-selling author, a great marketer, a successful coach, mentor, a very active real estate investor and international speaker in the area of real estate and self-developmental. The Atlanta REIA All Inclusive Marketing (AIM) Group (formerly known as the “I Love Marketing” group) is a new networking and educational meeting led by Rock Shukoor and Dustin Griffin for like-minded real estate investors and small business owners who enjoy marketing and are interested in taking their business to the next level through creative marketing techniques.
AIM is for people who want to want to get together, learn and discuss marketing challenges, strategies and opportunities. Although many of the examples we cover at the meetings will be geared towards real estate investors, the techniques and strategies learned can easily be applied to any business.
