Atlanta REIA has a lot going on this last week of September 2011. We have two highly anticipated, educational workshops this week… one is the Internet Marketing Online Boot Camp and the other is the FREE Back to Basics Workshop for Entrepreneurs. We also have several highly rated educational and/or networking subgroup meetings… Atlanta REIA West Meeting on Monday, the Note Buyers Group on Tuesday, the Beginning Investors Group on Wednesday and Haves & Wants on Thursday. We also have the final Saturday in the Park Networking Event of the Summer on Saturday. Come join us for a week of learning, networking and fun!

The Internet Marketing Online Boot Camp for 2011, aka “The Extreme 90 Day Internet Marketing Makeover”, officially kicks off on Tuesday, September 27th at 7 PM on GoToWebinar. Part 1 will be an “Introduction to Internet Marketing” where Dustin will teach you about the four major areas of Internet Marketing: Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Marketing (SMM) and Electronic Mail Marketing (EMM). The Note Buyers Group an Atlanta REIA educational and networking subgroup led by Tom Boyer that is designed to teach real estate investors how to buy and sell the mortgage notes that secure a property rather than buying the property itself. The group’s goal is to transact deals within the group and increase our professionalism through education in a changing credit market. The agenda for this month’s meeting is (1) Notes for Sale – Bring yours for analysis, (2) Smaller investment amount opportunities and (3) Strategies using seller financing to buy/sell properties, and (4) Legislation update as appropriate.
The Note Buyers Group meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Olive Garden located at 2467 Cobb Parkway SE in Smyrna about 1/2 mile from I-285. Haves and Wants is a weekly investor’s networking, brainstorming and deal making jam session hosted by Joe Thompson and held at 5 Seasons Brewing located at 5600 Roswell Rd (map) inside the Perimeter at the “Prado” in Sandy Springs from 1:30 PM till approximately 3:00 PM. Bring Your Family & Party in the Park with Us on October 1st!
Atlanta REIA invites you and your family to join us for the final “Saturday in the Park” of the Roswell Riverside Sounds outdoor concert series that takes place on October 1st. We will be rockin’ on the Chattahoochee at Riverside Park located at 575 Riverside Road in Roswell, GA. We’ll meet in the park starting at 5:30 PM and the concert starts at 7 PM and ends at 9 PM. This month the band will be The Dappled Grays, an Atlanta bluegrass band. We will be setting up at the back right-hand side of the park (see aerial photo) as you enter the concert area from the parking lot. Come party in the park with us one last time for 2011! Read more…
