We also have several exciting subgroup meetings this week such as the Creative Financing Group on Wednesday as well as Haves & Wants, the Small Business Group and Atlanta REIA South on Thursday.

The Atlanta Real Estate Investors Alliance is very excited to announce that on Monday, July 11th at 5:00 PM, we will be having a very special Atlanta REIA Main Meeting & Vendor Trade Show to celebrate our 1 Year Anniversary. We will be meeting at the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North located at 7 Concourse Parkway in the Bernstein Ballroom overlooking the hotel pool and patio.
This meeting and celebration is all about YOU, our members, business members, local speakers, trainers and subgroup leaders who have supported us throughout out very successful first year! This month at our Creative Financing Group (CFG) meeting on Wednesday, July 13th at 6:30 PM at Champps at 7955 North Point Parkway in Alpharetta, GA (map), local real estate expert and subgroup leader Mark Durham will teach you how to increase your cash flow and reduce your maintenance and management hassles on your rental houses using a very powerful technique known as a Lease Option. Haves and Wants is a weekly investor’s networking, brainstorming and deal making jam session hosted by Joe Thompson and held at 5 Seasons Brewing located at 5600 Roswell Rd (map) inside the Perimeter at the “Prado” in Sandy Springs from 1:30 PM till approximately 3:00 PM. The Atlanta REIA South Monthly Meeting, run by Reggie Jackson, is held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM at Ryan’s Restaurant located at 5425 North Henry Blvd in Stockbridge, GA (Map). Please show up at 6:30 PM to eat and network before the meeting officially starts at 7:00 PM. Atlanta REIA Members may attend at no charge. Guests may attend for $5.00. Immediately after the meeting, we will reconvene at the Stockbridge Taco Mac (Map) for Late Nite Networking. We hope you will come out and eat, drink, network, learn and have fun with us!
Cashflow Game Night is a meetup where individuals can learn to take control of their financial future by playing Robert Kiyosaki’s educational Cashflow 101 and Cashflow 202 board games. The Cashflow Players Group meets again on Sunday, July 17th at 6:30 PM at the Suwanee Taco Mac located at 3443 Lawrenceville Suwanee Road in Suwanee, GA (map). Atlanta REIA Members play for FREE. Atlanta’s real estate radio host, columnist, author, and investor John Adams will be our speaker for the Movers and Shakers Meeting on July 18th starting at 11:30 AM at the 5 Seasons Brewery in Alpharetta. John Adams is a full-time investor, broker, and author of multiple books about real estate. He also writes a weekly column for the Sunday real estate section of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and has a weekly call-in radio program on News-Talk Radio 920am WGKA. John will be speaking on his “Top 10 Tips for Georgia Landlords” and how to boost rents, retain tenants and minimize liability.

Movers and Shakers is an educational and networking group led by Gordon Catts that is designed to meet the interests of intermediate and advanced investors rather than new investors. The group meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at the 5 Seasons Brewing located at 3655 Old Milton Parkway in Alpharetta, GA. The doors open at 11:00 AM and the program officially starts at 11:30 AM. Atlanta REIA members can attend at no charge and non-members for $5.00.
