About Your Speaker…
Todd Robinson is a founding partner of Robinson Franzman, LLP, a boutique corporate and commercial real estate law firm serving clients throughout the United States. His practice includes multifamily acquisitions and development, commercial real estate finance, private equity, financial services, commercial real estate development, and investment matters.
Todd focuses on multifamily finance transactions and syndications, commercial real estate development, commercial lending, and general corporate and business law. His experience allows him to represent clients from all sides of a transaction, whether they are buying, selling, or financing a deal.
He also specializes in structuring and negotiating private equity real estate investment transactions for multifamily sponsors and investors. His work includes negotiating and structuring investment waterfalls, preferred returns, advising clients on securities regulations related to private placements, and counseling clients on capital market matters.
Todd’s clients include multifamily investment firms, family offices, commercial real estate developers, community and regional banks, institutional non-bank lenders, investment and asset managers, national REITs, commercial real estate investors, and small business owners.
In addition to transactional work, Todd handles complex litigation matters. He has represented clients in both federal and state courts in cases involving investment disputes, landlord-tenant matters, breaches of fiduciary duty, allegations of fraud, and lender liability claims.
Before co-founding Robinson Franzman, LLP, Todd practiced commercial real estate and commercial litigation at several of Atlanta’s largest and most prestigious law firms.
