How to Talk with Sellers to Seal the Deal & Get Them Under Contract

So, you’re excited about this being the best time EVER to be in real estate, you’re pumped and ready to go, chomping at the bit to do your first, or next, deal. You have a problem though, and it’s a BIG one… You’ve either haven’t talked with any Sellers yet, or you have talked to a number of Sellers and you aren’t getting any deals under contract-and you don’t know why. I mean, what could be wrong??
Join us at the Atlanta REIA Wild Wild West Meeting on Monday, September 23rd at 6:30 pm where Leslie Mathis has partnered up with several special guests, Ashley and Joey English as well as Regina Sitterley, who are NEW in the business yet achieving GREAT results NOW! Leslie and her guests will show you how they talk with Sellers, both on the phone and in person, to get deals under contract in TODAY’S market. They will be holding nothing back. You’ll see them do role plays, both with phone calls and at the Seller’s kitchen table, and see how they handle today’s real world seller objections. Bring in any seller objections you’ve been struggling with and, time permitting, you will have a chance to practice role playing yourself as both buyer and seller.

The Note Buyers Group an Atlanta REIA educational and networking subgroup led by Tom Boyer that is designed to teach real estate investors how to buy and sell the mortgage notes that secure a property rather than buying the property itself. The group’s goal is to transact deals within the group and increase our professionalism through education in a changing credit market. The agenda for this month’s meeting is (1) Haves/Wants, (2) Notes for Sale – Bring yours for analysis, (3) Smaller investment amount opportunities and (4) Strategies using seller financing to buy/sell properties, and (5) Legislation update as appropriate.
The Note Buyers Group meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Olive Garden located at 2467 Cobb Parkway SE in Smyrna about 1/2 mile from I-285.
