During his interactive presentation, Mr. Gurvey will cover the basics that every purchaser or seller of Real Property needs to know to be successful. This is the nitty-gritty of contracts – everything that you need to know, but were afraid to ask. He will cover the bare bones of what is needed to have a legally binding agreement and work though an engaging discussion of how you can go from writing a contract on a napkin to a multipage pro-buyer and/or pro-seller agreements.

If you are involved in the purchase or sale of real estate, you will not want to miss this particular Atlanta REIA Event. You’ll gain a greater understanding of the documents you use to buy or sell, and be able to better analyze and understand the contracts others might ask to you to sign. Andrew Gurvey is an Atlanta native and Georgia Licensed Attorney focusing on Real Estate closings for more than 20 years. Early on he worked for the Fulton County District Attorney’s office in the Drug Trafficking Unit and over the years managed the title department of several large Atlanta law firms, including handling their evictions, foreclosures, litigation and excess funds.

His Atlanta based firm, The Gurvey Law Group, covers residential and commercial closings all over the State of Georgia. He has a particular expertise with double closings, assignments, subject-to closings, certainly your average run-of-the-mill closings… and can clear title like none other. Andrew is the most investor friendly closing attorneys you’ll run across. Aside from helping thousands of buyers and sellers over the years, he personally invests in real estate and also is the Director of Real Estate for an Atlanta based affordable housing builder.
