Jonathan Lyman, Real Estate Attorney

After graduating from Shiloh High School, he attended The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Law and Legal Studies. He went on to study law at the University of Georgia, Hirsch School of Law where he focused his studies on real property law and received a J.D. in May of 2004. He was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in December of 2004 and has been employed in the transactional real property field since.
In addition to his daily operational duties as a Managing Partner at Halperin Lyman, LLC, Jonathan works closely with multiple hard money lenders to draft and prepare loan packages and counsels such clients on the implementation of their lending operations and workflows. He also works hand-in-hand with an array of real estate investors to facilitate individual transactions, as well as assist them in solidifying their investment models and strategies. In the more traditional course of providing settlement services, Jonathan oversees the resolution of atypical title clouds on escalated files in order to rectify difficult title problems in the most expedient manner possible, ensuring the subject properties are cleanly and properly conveyed at the time of closing.
