How to Invest in Real Estate with Your IRA – A Two Part Webcast Series

Atlanta REIA is excited to announce that Jim Hitt, the CEO of American IRA, will be our special guest for a two part webcast series on “How to Invest in Real Estate with Your IRA”.
The first webcast will be on February 16th at 7PM and will focus on basic to intermediate strategies for using your IRA to invest in real estate. The second webcast will be on March 15th at 7PM and will focus on intermediate, advanced, and creative strategies for investing in real estate with your IRA.

Real Estate Investing 101 Workshop with Russ Hiner – February 25, 2012

Real Estate Investing 101 is a new monthly workshop training series that starts on Saturday, February 25, 2012 and is designed to give new real estate investors an exciting glimpse into the highly profitable world of real estate investing. Local real estate expert, Russ Hiner, is helping us kick off our first workshop. During this first session, Russ is going to give you a high level overview of the various ways to profit by investing in real estate and help you get started on your way. Registration starts at 11:00 AM at the Cheyenne Grill located at 2391 Peachtree Rd NE in Atlanta, GA (map). The workshop will officially start at 11:30 AM. The registration price is $10 for Gold Members, 20 for Silver Members and $30 for guests. This price is good for 2 people.

Last week’s column titled, Will the Number of Foreclosures Increase in 2012, brought in a number of calls and emails. Several folks in the real estate field accused me of being negative and trying to drive down real estate values.
I asked one caller, “Do you really think my weekly real estate investing column influences real estate values? Seriously?”
The truth is, Kim and I are along for the ride just like everyone else.
