Having been in the real estate investing business for 45 years, I have lived through seven different economic cycles where markets have gone up, and markets have gone down. A The commission initially served the City of Atlanta and Fulton and Dekalb Counties. Now they serve a 13 county area and 72 Municipalities. They are involved in the study, plan, influence, and implimation of transportation, infrastructure, health, water quality, employment, etc. All of these areas impact housing.
