We at the Atlanta Real Estate Investors Alliance want to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! On Monday, December 6th starting at 5:30 PM at the Doubletree Hotel in Roswell, GA, we are having a very special Atlanta REIA Meeting and Christmas party. Atlanta REIA Members may bring guests at NO CHARGE and non-members may attend for FREE as well. Come one, come all and celebrate the holiday season with us and many other Atlanta real estate investors, entrepreneurs and professionals.
From 6 to 7 PM, I’ve asked several of our good friends, business members and fellow investors such as Jeff Nix, Mark Galey, Joe Thompson, Erven Kimble, Karen Bershad and a few others to address our group about what we have going on at Atlanta REIA and are planning in the near future.
From 7 to 8:30 PM, our good friend, guru and very successful commercial real estate investor, David Lindahl, will be our main speaker for the evening and will be talking about how to successfully invest in commercial real estate and make a fortune in today’s real estate market. The Atlanta REIA North Monthly Meeting is our newest Atlanta Real Estate Investor Group held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at at 1960 Skylar Hill Dr, Suite D in Buford, Georgia. There is a $5.00 cover charge for non-members. There will be Late Nite Networking immediately following the Atlanta REIA North Meeting at 8:30 PM at the Mall of Georgia Taco Mac.

The Haves and Wants Meeting meets every Thursday except major holidays.

Wow, our November 1st Atlanta REIA Meeting was our biggest and best yet! A lot of new friends and old ones turned out last night to hear Dyches Boddiford speak on creative financing techniques for many your potential real estate investment deals. Including Dyches, there were five Georgia Real Estate Investors Association (GaREIA) past Presidents in attendance including Debby Henning, Steve Jordan, Jeff Nix and Don Derosa. If Gordan Catts had been in attendance, there would have been six! Atlanta REIA truly appreciates all of the support that GaREIA leaders and members, past and present, have been showing our new REIA group. Thank you everyone who attended our November Atlanta REIA Main Meeting and became Atlanta REIA Charter Members!
I must admit, hearing Dyches speak last night was like drinking water from a fire hose. Though what he teaches is more advanced and caters more to seasoned investors, he offered exactly what our group needed to hear in our troubled economic times. Simple investing and financing techniques for the new investor and much more creative, outside-of-the-box, investing and financing strategies for the seasoned investor that are capable of generating large sums of equity and cash flow today and in the near future. Not only did I learn a few new things from Dyches, but he also reminded me of a few techniques that I had long forgotten that are totally applicable to today’s economy and real estate market. Atlanta REIA is a totally separate Atlanta Georgia Real Estate Investors Association from the Georgia Real Estate Investors Association, Inc.
Some people ask if we are a Georgia Real Estate Investors Association subgroup or subchapter, but we are NOT. Atlanta REIA is NOT a subgroup or subchapter of the Georgia Real Estate Investors Association, Inc. Atlanta REIA is completely independent from Georgia Real Estate Investors Association and always will be.
Others ask if we are a splinter group of Georgia Real Estate Investors Association, but we are not… not really. While it is true that we formed several REIA groups due to our own personal ambitions, we wish to remain close allies with Georgia Real Estate Investors Association and help the organization and its membership while having the flexibility of doing our own thing.
