Atlanta REIA Main MeetingWow, our November 1st Atlanta REIA Meeting was our biggest and best yet! A lot of new friends and old ones turned out last night to hear Dyches Boddiford speak on creative financing techniques for many your potential real estate investment deals. Including Dyches, there were five Georgia Real Estate Investors Association (GaREIA) past Presidents in attendance including Debby Henning, Steve Jordan, Jeff Nix and Don Derosa. If Gordan Catts had been in attendance, there would have been six! Atlanta REIA truly appreciates all of the support that GaREIA leaders and members, past and present, have been showing our new REIA group. Thank you everyone who attended our November Atlanta REIA Main Meeting and became Atlanta REIA Charter Members!

I must admit, hearing Dyches speak last night was like drinking water from a fire hose. Though what he teaches is more advanced and caters more to seasoned investors, he offered exactly what our group needed to hear in our troubled economic times. Simple investing and financing techniques for the  new investor and much more creative, outside-of-the-box, investing and financing strategies for the seasoned investor that are capable of generating large sums of equity and cash flow today and in the near future. Not only did I learn a few new things from Dyches, but he also reminded me of a few techniques that I had long forgotten that are totally applicable to today’s economy and real estate market. Atlanta REIA Main Monthly MeetingYesterday evening, many folks turned out for our Atlanta REIA Meeting despite the holiday, to celebrate would could be their Last Labor Day and I want to personally thank everyone who attended. We really appreciate your support for our new Atlanta real estate investor group.

Several investors I spoke to at the meeting had done quite well in the Atlanta real estate investing market a few years ago, but got burned on a few deals gone bad when the housing market crashed more recently. As a result, they took some time off from real estate investing to recover, regroup and had to get a job to pay the bills. They came out last night to get re-focused and re-energized so they can accomplish great things buying, selling and/or holding real estate once more since housing prices are at an all time low. I commend you all for doing what it takes to get re-engaged and not take a few bad blows as permanent defeat. Just know that Atlanta REIA is here to help you in your future endeavors.

Atlanta REIA Main Monthly MeetingCelebrate Your Last Labor Day with Atlanta REIA!

Hey everyone, our next Atlanta Real Estate Investors Alliance Meeting is on Monday, September 6th, 2010 at 5:30 PM at the Doubletree Hotel in Roswell GA. Yes, it is true that this is the Labor Day holiday for all of you with J.O.B.s, but for the  rest of us, this is just another day to get together with our fellow real estate professionals and celebrate the fact that we don’t have jobs thanks to the financial Independence that real estate investing has given us.

So if you have a job, enjoy the weekend and better part of Monday with your friends and family, and then come out and join us at 5:30 PM and celebrate what could be your “Last” Labor Day if you choose to make it so. Then you can spend the rest of the year working with your new real estate investor association to achieve the financial freedom you want and deserve so you can “lose your job” and join the ranks of the “self unemployed”!  As you know, many investors make more money off a single deal or two than many of their friends and family members make all year. Come hang with us and other successful investors to learn how you can too!

Gordon Catts, our Educational Director, has put together a panel of experienced investors for our September 6th Atlanta REIA Labor Day Meeting. The panel discussion theme is quit laboring for someone else and  labor for yourself instead using real estate investing as your means to do so. Read More→
