Beth FasnachtBeth Fasnacht is currently the co-leader of the Atlanta REIA Mastermind Group for Real Estate Investors with Russ Hiner, her mentor/teacher from another real estate educational organization. Beth, the mother of two teen age boys eager to learn more about real estate investing so they can do more to help run the family investing business,  is also creating a new Atlanta REIA training program designed to teach teenagers about real estate investing at an early age. The Teen Real Estate Boot Camp will be starting in the summer of 2011.

Beth was born in Augusta, GA where she grew up learning about real estate investing. Beth’s mother was an investor and she inspired Beth to get involved in the process. Beth’s mother would purchase foreclosed houses on the local courthouse steps and then the family would rehab and prepare the houses to rent or to sell.

After college, Beth spent twenty years working for the National Park Service and the Corp of Engineers as a park ranger. The past sixteen years, she has run a successful business, Pet Watch, Inc. After attending many real estate investing seminars and real estate investor association meetings, she and her family have been rehabbing residential and commercial office properties for the last eight years. She and her husband decided that they are ready to move on to other types of real estate projects, including apartment complexes, self storage units, and mobile home parks, all with little or no rehab.

    Hello Beth,

I hope you are having a wonderful day, I wanted to know if you could chat briefly about my interest in flipping houses. I’ve worked for many years as a real estate agent and plan to transition to flipping to help my husband and I increase our income. Thank you in advance for your speedy reply.

    Sincerely,
