Our mission and focus is to provide an open forum for real estate investors and industry professionals to network and have direct access to hot real estate deals. The format for this meeting is totally member-centric. It’s content and value is derived from our members and guests actively participating and networking with each other during the meeting.

You will have the opportunity to pitch your properties, products, and services; voice your real estate haves and wants; and participate in open discussions of real estate questions and concerns. The more you attend and participate, the more deals you’ll do and, the smarter we all become.

Let’s Make a Deal for August 18, 2016

The “Let’s Make A Deal” group is a subgroup of the Atlanta REIA led by Lynn Overall and Don DeRosa that now meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30PM at 5 Seasons Brewing, 5600 Roswell Rd, Sandy Springs, GA. The focus of the group is to take new investors through the entire process of repurposing distressed home.
We are no longer asking you to bring your checkbook, however you will be disappointed if you don’t because these deals will be purchased by someone, and you will have the first opportunity to profit from them.
Funding for these deals will be provided by our sponsors, Angel Oak Prime Bridge & Barnett Capital. Each group desiring to participate in the deal will form an LLC, identify member responsibilities, open an operational bank account and fund holding costs for the deal and execute a purchase contract for the property. Your projects will be overseen by a professional engineer and an experienced rehab investor.
Our goal is to have fun, make a profit and learn how to properly rehab a property. We will also provide the buyer and the neighborhood with homes that are shining examples of what we, as investors, do for the economy and the community.
Bring your checkbook or not. Either way, you will walk away from this meeting with knowledge and tools to help you become a better investor.
No less than three properties will be presented at the meeting. Each will meet the Angel Oak 65% or 100% financing criteria. Come join us and do your first rehab!

The Atlanta REIA West Monthly Meeting is an Atlanta REIA Subchapter led by Leslie Mathis that is held on the 4th Monday of each month at 6:30 PM at the Cherokee Cattle Company located at 2710 Canton Rd in Marietta. The next meeting will be held on Monday, July 25th at 6:30PM. Atlanta REIA Members can attend for no charge and guests for $10.
